Even though this may just look like a molded piece of newspaper, there is actually a meaning behind it.

It's a person appearing to be pushing against the newspaper as if to get out.

My theme is Poverty. My aim was to show that there is much more than just what is written in the newspaper and that people need to visualize what poverty looks like rather than just read about it to understand it.

I had this great idea in my head and wanted to create it, but that proved to be much more difficult than I thought. I had to change things around a bit for this to eventually work for me and I'm quite proud of it, even though it doesn't look like anything to anyone else, it means a lot to me.
